Friends, the word “butling,” (the art of being a butler,) is brand new to my beak-holes, and I learned it from Butlers In Love starring Stacey Farber and Corey Cott. These actors did a flipper-tickling job of playing Emma and Henry, two students at a highly elite butler academy. Not only was there a duck of a lot of intriguing detail about butling, but there was also a unique environment for building duck-pressure (which is the same as human pressure) both in terms of the beak-thrilling romance and the protagonists’ career aspirations. Also, the story taught this duck a beak-to-flippers lesson about following my heart when it comes to my dreams.
Now, although yours truly has given Butlers in Love a full five flippers, I did get a mite ducked off at the beginning. The heat of conflict is rather abrasive, IMDO (in my ducking opinion), and makes both leads look like the kind of humans a duck should steer clear of. But! It’s super-ducking worth sticking with this one, not least because of the original screenplay and stellar performances from Farber and Cott, who do warm up the characters they play. As for the end of the movie, it was satisfying from beak to flippers! My internal pondwater was moons-at-midnight for days.
